Vinodol's springs and washboards

Vinodol's springs and washboards bear witness to the stonemason's craft and to a way of life in which fetching water was a daily task. Visitors explore them with their phone: they listen to the story of each place, collect stamps and claim a reward.

Challenge

Twenty-four springs and washboards are scattered across Bribir, Grižane and Drivenik. Stamps used to be collected on paper cards with rubber stamps on site, visitors struggled to find their way between locations, and without a story they did not know what they were looking at.

Solution

The web guide opens via a QR code on a board, with no installation or sign-in. Every spring has an audio story, the map leads to the next one, and the digital passport records visits and leads to a reward from the Tourist Board.
